What thyroid blood tests should you have done?

By July 13, 2020August 4th, 2021Thyroid

Most conventional doctors and endocrinologists do 2 tests to test your thyroid for hypothyroidism, Total T4 and TSH but did you know that in order to know if your thyroid is hypo, way more tests need to be done to truly know?

This is why so many people can be hypo but be told their tests are “normal”.

So what should you have tested?

Get a FULL THYROID PANEL DONE:

Free T4 (total is irrelevant)
Free T3
TSH
RT3
and BOTH antibodies (TPO and Anti TPO)

Antibodies will tell you if you have Hashimoto’s or not.

Unless all of those tests are done and the doctor goes by optimal levels, you can stay sick for years and never get diagnosed. I KNOW because that is what happened to me!

So what can you do about it if you feel like you have all the symptoms that are associated with hypothyroidism but your tests keeping coming back “normal”?

Check out the short video below to hear the answer to that!
